If you have completed courses at another college or university, and are
- Planning on earning a degree or certificate and using those courses to help complete the requirements, and/or
- Using your course work to complete a California State University General Education or a University of California/IGETC certificate, and/or
- Applying for Financial Aid, and/or
- Applying for veterans benefits
Your official transcript will be evaluated for applicable units if you are currently enrolled or have taken classes at CSM.
Official Transcript Evaluation
Students who have completed lower division coursework at other colleges or universities and wish to apply specific classes already completed toward a CSM certificate, associate degree, or to a CSU general education certificate, an IGETC certification should have those classes officially evaluated. For an official evaluation, a student must have completed or be registered in a total of 6 units at CSM, Skyline, or Skyline College, and have an official transcript on file. Due to the large number of transcripts received, the evaluation process may require approximately four to six weeks to complete.
